To MedEd,
The owner of the thread was mentioning " to change history"..and by so, he would need to travel back in time to "change" history. So, you may need to go back and "change history"?
Just my two cents.
Use of “their” as a genderless singular?

When we can say about a current movie classic, an immediate joke classic, the discipline more about ancient Greek beings and roman beings at university is titled Classics,
Jane Austen has been my girl since I was 13 in highschool in China.

To Percy,
Can I ask you a question? So what is the exact difference between classical and classic? Thanks.

But anyways, in order to possibly roll with Robert Browning's prose, as two balls, I would say, if a man interprets beauty in an overly literal way, he may become like a fundamentalist Christian comprehending the Holy Bible and ergo, be a less attractive man to beautiful women.

Wood, I thought you had been scared by the question sir..:). No, nothing there, but if you want to keep your privacy, it is perfectly fine. When I started learning English in highschool in China, I was unhappy to see the differings of English. To me, English has only been from England ( even now, I still insist on this). Just follow the beautiful Queen :).

In terms of "electric engineer" and "electrical engineer", I would love to give my thought too, I have more than once seen native speakers interchangeably. using a "historical character" and "historic character". Which one should be more accurate?
