subconscious vs unconscious

to Houston Frazier-
if you cant actually access those memories it should be defined as unconscious going off the discussions above but its quite an odd thing...
in my honest opinion, i believe if at the time of these discussions you were alert and aware, there was a state of 'consciousness' (maybe not 100% though) but due to the state of your mind at the moment (your concussion) these moments became unconscious.

besides that ^^

in my current understanding of the two terms put into "i was (subconscious/unconscious) when i (action)" subconscious is when you do the action without conscious thought and soon notice the action but unconscious is when you do an act which you never remember or realise unless it is pointed out to you which then makes it go from an unconscious action to completely conscious and if you continue the action after becoming conscious of it, it usually becomes subconscious as you aren't necessarily thinking about the action but are not conscious of it to a degree. for example: "i unconsciously tap my foot" becomes "i subconsciously tap my foot" once someone points it out and you become aware of it.
thats just my view thought and im happy to be proven wrong :) im no scholar and this is just an opinion so id love some insight of other views on the matter
