Bio
Seeing fifty-six years in the service of English, I began reading and writing at the age of four, I am an inveterate editor. I wince at obvious grammatical errors made by "those who should know better". Living in the south-east of Queensland, Australia, occasionally performing editing jobs for a local publisher, and with the advent of COVID, I am searching for new avenues to assert my loquacity.

Sells or sold?
I disagree with Rik853's comment that "I find a pet store that sells ferrets" is wrong. If the writer is speaking in the present tense, the phrase is grammatically correct. It is no different to saying "I find a stone that has holes", where "sells" and "has" are the present tense of the verbs, "find" is a perfectly usable verb.
